Our schools are at the heart of every neighborhood in the city of Mount Vernon. Wherever you are in the city, you'll find a neighborhood school to welcome you. Neighborhood schools are our centers of learning, and they are also centers of activity before and after school. We have nine schools that deliver quality education to our students. Six schools offer elementary level education, two middle schools, and a comprehensive high school.
